Another tall, dark, handsome grandson’s coming to stay today so my SoS will be rather brief. Last week I showed the first hollyhocks, they are now taking over the flowerbeds and look very good too. On with Six-on-Saturday.
1)

The walls and mantlepiece are not pink so I don’t know what happened here. The roses are pink though.
2)

The jackmanii is really filling out now.
3)

The rest of the garlic harvest. The first one was disappointing in size but the flavour was fine. These are all better.
4)

This combination looks lovely in the garden but the colours haven’t come out as well in the photo. Before I get any complaints, I know that is a weed with the pelargonium but it has had a reprieve while it looks pretty.
5)

The persicaria have rooted well and are getting ready for the garden takeover.
6)

If you think I’m tidying this lot up you’ve got another think coming.

See, wait long enough and it gets done.

What bird? Not in my garden there isn’t!
Our cat does like to be around while I’m outside, so he has to qualify as a garden implement, ornament or feature doesn’t he?
Well, that’s it again. I had better get watering now and later too, it’s going to be a hot day.
Have a good weekend in your garden. π πΉπ¦π©βπΎπΉπ¦π¨πΊπΉ
The cat’s gardener keeps his garden looking rather splendid for him I must say. I have clematis envy. The jackmanii is a show.

Cats are smart enough to leave all the work to the humans! I love the Hollyhocks too, they add such impact and your clematis is looking great too.

Cats do make me laugh. Mine like to hang around too which is fine in some circumstances but not when they climb the pea supports!
